Have you ever gone downtown before and noticed some good-looking woman walking down the alley while in her high stilettos? Would you say that the woman is sexy just because of that footwear? I don't know about you, but I certainly know a lot of people who would say so. For them, the sexiness exuded by these high footwear is enough to make someone sexy.
But sexiness is almost always viewed as something objective, but it seems that stilettos strike a common denominator among anyone's scale. Why so? Why would one become sexy by just wearing shoes that force her to stand on her toes?
I precisely had that brief discussion with a male friend a few days ago, because one of our common friends has been saying that she wants to wear stilettos to make her very attractive. This male friend is taking an elementary sociology class and, thus, is in more position to give explanation to the matter.
Interestingly, according to his sociology professor, the reason why people think that stilettos make someone sexy is that they make a woman look confident and ready to procreate. It is not easy to wear stilettos. It takes weeks of consistent practice to wear one, unless you want to trip down on your way to that party. It takes a lot of confidence that you can wear that stiletto comfortably, and when there is confidence, there is sexiness.
Well, probably another reason for this is that when a woman is wearing a stiletto, her legs are usually shown bare. People always give high regard for good-looking legs, and that gives a woman more attractiveness points. Of course, I think it is inadvisable to go for stilettos if you think that your legs are not as attractive as they possibly can be.
If stilettos will affect your perception of what is sexy and what is still your choice, but you gotta admit that a lot of people see it that way.
