In every part of the world, there are poor people who hardly eat everyday. To support their everyday needs - food, shelter, clothes and school for kids, parents must do strenuous work and these works are really physically tiring. But in some cases, it's not the parents who work for their family, especially if they are not capable of doing work due to illnesses. It's their kids who work for them, and they do it at a very young age.Meet Surj, a very young lad who needs to shine shoes to earn something for his family. His parents are both blind therefore they cannot go to work and instead, its their young son who does it for them.
Shining shoes for someone else isn't an easy task. It may look easy to you because kids just have to rub a rag in your shoes and that's it, they already have money. But think of their age. They should be going to school. They ought to be playing with others. Child labor is not right.
Bringing joy to a kid is an easy thing. You can see how happy the boy was being able to help his family to at least eat once a day.
I truly commend the maker of this video, Ryan Estrada. But what he said is true. Giving joy to a kid is easy, making it last is hard.
