Perhaps one of my most favorite shoes ever made are the ones the Reebok company makes. I have had a couple of Reebok shoes since I was a kid and until now, their designs and quality is still outstanding.
I have also influenced many of my friends to buy Reebok. Hey, I think Reebok should pay me for advertising them, haha kidding. That one on the picture is my friend Dan's white Reebok. He uses that everytime he goes to the gym. It was such a comfortable shoes for daily activities.
Reebok literally mean rhebok, an African gazelle/antelope. The spelling was different because the founders got it in a South African dictionary where it was spelled differently.
It was first introduced as a line for athletic shoes. It went to popularity in the 80's along with the boom of the aerobics craze. From then on, Reebok was considered by many as a common household name.
Reebok have since change from strictly making athletic foot wear to making shoes for everyday use. Reebok users such as me, find Reebok's design applicable for casual events.
Although I primarily use my Reebok only as sports wear every morning during a jogging or a gym session, I still prefer Reebok over other brands. I think Nike and Adidas and uberly popular that I just have to settle with a Reebok, lol. Ironically, Reebok is just a subsidiary of Adidas. And that makes me more closer to using Adidas than using a Nike.
