Nike, one of the world's leader when it comes to shoe manufacturing recently implemented a program called Reuse-A-Shoe to engage the company's long term commitment for waste elimination. In the city of Lansing and counties of Eaton, Clinton and Ingham, a total of over 15,000 pair of shoes were already collected to date for Nike's Athletic Recycling Program.
