ShoeCartel.com is a price comparison service dedicated to helping consumers quickly identify the shoes they want with a price that fits. We strive to help consumers make educated buying decisions by providing free services and tools that streamline the online shopping experience. What inspired you to launch your own website? I LOVE SHOES! When did you launch your first website, and what was it? 2001 How did you decide on a name for your website? I'm clever :) What makes it different from other, similar offerings? It's exclusively for shoes. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) Sell it How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? Alot :) If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? Not realistic If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Absolutely. What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? Been there, Done that. What has been your biggest challenge? Lack of human resources. I do it all myself. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Banner Advertising How has running your website differed from your expectations? Living up to expectations How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? Until I could sell it and retire :) What would you say to anyone who uses your site? Its FREE and it helps consumers.
