My First Real International Shoe Donation

I have not been able to put updates about my Sole Box Shoe Foundation for quite sometime now for the reason that at the moment, it is on a 'break'. Well actually, like television series or books, the foundation is on a break while preparing for the "second season" and a little dispute between the foundation and the tax collectors is also ongoing. Haha.

Since the foundation's existence earlier this year, we have already received thousands of shoe donations. We also have already conducted 5 outreach programs in 7 different locations, mostly to those poor neighborhoods and small remote schools. After the shoes have all been distributed, and also after receiving a small tax dispute, we decided to slow down for awhile.

PETA reprimands Chrysler for leather shoes rule

A recent memo from Chrysler to its factory workers reminding them to wear leather sheos got a reprimand from the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). PETA said that the rule will most likely offend a lot of people, especially those whose religious beliefs dictate the non-wearing of leather or other materials. Chrysler responded by saying that the memo is just a security measure that they will have to implement.

Want Some Gladiator Sandals?

I'm really not the fashion guru when it comes to shoes. Although I do love shoes and at some point I do collect them, I am not well updated on what's the new and what's the hottest shoe fashion.

So a few days ago my sister is complaining about her new Gladiator Sandals that has gone missing. She said she just put it in the front door in the morning and by noon it was gone. Lol.

I Wanna Be Cinderella

"I wanna be Cinderella!". This is what my sister said yesterday because it was her birthday. Well, you can actually think this she's having a childish thought, but only if you will know her age, you'll be surprised she still wants to be Cinderella.

Well, she already turned 30 yesterday. And it won't be a good one seeing Cinderella at the age of 30. I mean, we all have this perception that characters on fairy tales do not age, at least in our minds.

Don't Step On My Shoes

Just recently, I was in a party with my friends for the Halloween. It's supposed to be a small gathering for the online people but it turned out to become a gathering for everyone, including not those invited. Well, there's really no problem with that as they made the night more special.

But there is one phrase that I heard for like 3 or 4 times that night. And everytime I run pass through it on my mind, I can't help but laugh. What was it? "Don't step on my shoes!".
