There's always a time in every year that you have to take those rubber shoes and those low cut school shoes off. And about the same time, the rain shoes and rain boots will again reign the streets. Rainy days are here again. Well, it has been raining for almost a month now, but it is the time where the 'tingling' starts. Its time for heavy rains and storms are saying hello. Because here in Asia where school starts almost about the same time as the rain starts to fall, the kids are still sitting pretty and worry not about school. In many countries, with Indonesia and Philippines in particular, the first few weeks of school is actually called the 'Irregular Days'. It's because these weeks are the most visited by storms making it dangerous for young students to go to school. But for some reason, college students are mostly exempted from school cut offs. Maybe the head of the government thinks college students are old enough to take care of themselves in the middle of heavy pouring rains. IN that case, students are forced to put their rain boots and shoes on, even if it means ruining their 'sense of fashion'. When I was in college, I used to wear rain boots during the rainy months. I'm really not the type of person who cares much for how I looked like. I mean, I don't care if I wore boots, the important thing is I can go to school safe from the slide-y roads and not wet. Though nowadays, I'm seeing a lot of stylish woven boots and 'fashionista' rainy shoes being sold in every shopping malls. Aside from the protection it could give your feet from the high rain waters, rainy boots and shoes are actually a safeguard against comon rain diseases such as 'cold feet-cold stomach' and the 'eeewww' leprosy from the urine of animals specifically rats that goes with rain waters. So next time you see the cloud preparing to shower you with heavy joys of love, do not hesitate to bring or wear boots. It's good for you. Believe me. This video shows a man how to make wooden shoes. Well, wooden shoes are not really for your everyday use. It is actually the first time I saw a production of wooden shoes that are literally use for the feet. I mean, I know wooden shoes used as a mold for making stitched rubber or leather shoes but not wooden shoes. Wouldn't that hurt? Well, maybe it is only made for short time wearing, but hey, I'm no Pinnochio and I cannot stand long with a wooden shoe! Maybe you can, but not me, I sweat a lot and my feet is like a waterfalls when it started to feel heat that's why I stil prefer shoes that are comfortable and actually absorbs or prevent my feet from sweating haha. I know it sounds disgusting, but my feet is really like that. :d It's not smelly though. I don't have smelly feet haha. So I think that wooden shoe will only be good for me as a collector's item. :D It will not do good when I wear it for sure. This week had been tough. I witnessed a lot of goodbye-scenes this week. My dog died. A famous actor in my country died. A neighbor's granny died. And one of my favorite shoes finally came to his end. I told you before about my rubber shoes that has holes in the sole. At the moment that shoes is currently resting in my shoe rack. This time, it's my official traveling shoes, Wallace, that finally gave up. It's normal for me to give names to everything I own. And about two years ago, I saw a W-Brown rubber-leather stitched shoes on sale on the department store. I love sales and discounts so I immediately bought it. A regular price for W-Brown is $30 above, but I got the shoes for only $20 that time. I named it Wallace for the W in w-brown that is unknown to me. Hehe. I own a number of shoe pairs. I use different shoes for different purposes. I own a running shoes, combat sports shoes, hiking shoes, rubber shoes for every day and traveling shoes for long day travels. This past few months, I have been busy traveling in many different locations. That is why Wallace is always the one being use among my other shoes. I love using Wallace because he is comfortable even if I am already wearing him for the whole day. Sometimes I would stand on the bus and the floor is too hot. If I wear my rubber shoes, I will certainly feel the heat coming to my body. But whenever I wore that W-Brown, there's not even a sense of hotness from the floor. However, 2 days ago, my dear traveling shoes finally came to his end. The soles were rift apart. It also has small holes. It can be repaired, but I chose not to have it repaired. It has served me long enough and I'm happy with it. That $20 shoes gave me the best quality a traveling shoes can give. Well, I guess I have to replace Wallace with something new. Can you suggest a good brand of shoes for traveling? Tags: traveling shoes • sports shoes • w brown leather shoes • rubber shoes • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

I'm excited to tell you people that I have a new girlfriend. She's very beautiful, kind and funny to be with. She's a tremendous sense of humor and a really nice, captivating sense of fashion. A few days ago, she asked me to accompany her in the shoe market to buy a new shoes. Of course I answered yes but I told her that she must not ask me what shoes to buy because I really don't know how to pick shoes for girls. She nodded yes and off we go. Well, I don't think I have to worry about that, as I said she's got a high sense of fashion. But to my surprise, she took me to a sports shoe section of the shopping center. I really thought she's going to buy high heels or stilettos, but no, she went for a sports sneakers. She picked up from the line of sports sneakers a rouge and white Adidas Okapi. Well, as far as I know, Okapi's are especially made for comfort. And from the looks of the shoes, I can say she really have the eye for good looking and high performance shoes. I'm really puzzled as to why she bought that sports shoes, so I asked her. She said she really did not plan on buying girly shoes because she still have many of it. In fact, if you're going to look at her shoe rack, she's like a mini version of Imelda Marcos. She has like around 30-40 pairs of shoes. Some of them are her shoes when shes still young. The next day we went to the Gerabi Waterfalls near our place. She wore the shoes already because she didn't know I planned to take her there. So she took off the shoes and we were both barefooted, like children playing with water. You see, you don't really have to wear your shoes all the time.
