From Shoes To Slippers

Yesterday I was with a friend in a special gathering and we were required to dress formally. I don't know, but I'm just not the type who likes wearing formal clothes, like tuxedos and long, pointed black shoes. But since it's a requirement, I can't do anything but follow.

The gathering started around 6 in the evening and ended around 9pm. For 3 hours, I tried to enjoy the clothes I'm wearing but I sweat a lot in those suits and I feel very uncomfortable. Specifically, my feet are starting to hurt because of the shoes.

Christian Louboutin Is Back

Well, not really him as he did not even left us, it's his website that is back. For many months the great French shoe designer, Christian Louboutin's website, http://www.christianlouboutin.com, is down. But after months of waiting, shoe lovers and the Louboutin fans can now shop once again to his majestic collection. And because he had his website under construction for so long, it's only fair that visitors will be pleased with how his little web space gonna look.

I paid his website a visit and it was enticing. It's very high-tech and very modern, with all those 3d images of him. And browsing on his collection is really fun, especially in killing the 3D Louboutin-faced mosquito. The shoe categories embedded on a pile of shoe boxes is just cool. He also put his handbag collection for day and evening use.

Shoe Throwing Incident Premier Edition

The government is not the most popular institution in terms of mass acceptance and appeal. Every move they make is under scrutiny. From demonstrations and rallies against policies and system of governance can be seen through out the globe and usually the Head of the country or state is to be blamed. An infamous incident of shoe throwing happened again this time with China's Premier which you can see here:

Cambridge Shoe The Chinese Prime Minister

Just barely seven full weeks ago, former US Pres. George W. Bush had a controversial visit in Iraq when he was thrown shoes at while holding a media interview on one of his surprise visit on the country. But last February 2, the Chinese Prime Minister suffered the same fate when he visited the Cambridge University.

While giving his speech on the hundreds of Cambridge University students that were present, Prime Minister Wen Jiabaowas interrupted when a protester threw his shoes on the Premier. The protester was then escorted outside of the University's concert hall.

Crocs For Free

OK. Finally, after years of being in hype and overrated-ness, I gave in and have myself a pair of Crocs shoes. Well, I actually did not bought it with my own money, it's actually free from them. Yes, I got my Crocs shoes for free.

About 3 days ago I was in a mall and bought my nephew a new pair of shoes. I used my credit card and when I'm already home, my credit card company called and said I have a free pair of Crocs shoes and is ready for pick up in the nearest Croc store.
