Once a year, a Flea Market is being held in my town. There are other flea markets in our province and nearby cities, but I consider the flea market in my hometown as special. It is because it is the largest and has the biggest array of selections from everything you need. Plus, it also have concerts and games for all people to enjoy.
In other countries, a flea market is always an awaited event. In some part, they are open all year round, while others have closed market during winter. In that particular photo, you can see shoes being sold in the Tristan Narvaja Flea Market in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Shoes are one of the best sellers in every flea market I went in. It is one of the mostly seen item during events like this. Perhaps it is because the price is cheaper than signature brands and those you can buy inside shopping malls or boutique stores.
The good thing about buying shoes in fleas is that you have almost all of the types and designs you can ever imagine. Everything, from boots, running shoes, sports shoes, training shoes, formal shoes, school shoes and just about everything. You name it, you have it.
Another is the price. Flea Markets obviously offers a cheaper price than any other shops can offer. You also get to buy shoes that are odd looking. I mean, those shoes that are not intended to be worn, but only for display and for collections.
I remember I bought one made of wood! On the sole of it was written "Pinocchio once wore this shoe.", Lol, it was really beautiful! I can't wait for the next flea market on October!
