Footwear and dancing. It's a pair that can be hardly broken. Except for a number of dances (mainly in the folk genre) where the dancers go barefoot, most dances in the world today involve the use of the proper pair of shoes--and this is not surprising at all. Whether it be hip hop, ballroom, party-type, or anything similar, you can bet that there's a pair of shoes specifically for those dances.
The reason I brought this up is because of this night dance party that I will be attending this evening. It's a dance party, with flee-flowing drinks and all that. Once in a while, you really have to party hard after weeks of intense studying and attempting to solve the problems you encounter everyday.
Anyway, I'm a bit worried about my shoes (as always!) because prior to this party, I'll be going to a job interview in the afternoon. Of course, I naturally have to dress well for that interview if I want to earn some brownie points in my favor. But that would also mean I have to wear that attire to the party, something that I'm not very sure about.
The thing is--I don't if I could dance that much in such an outfit and with that kind of shoes. I haven't dance in a very long while. This is actually going to be the first time that I'll be dancing in a number of years. But that doesn't mean that I don't dance. I used to dance a lot in my younger years, but my current field dictates that I put myself in front of the computer every single time.
This is actually one thing that makes me a bit nervous until now. Can I still dance or am I really a bit incapable of doing these things once again? I hope my pair of leather shoes don't disappoint me. I am counting on them.
