"I wanna be Cinderella!". This is what my sister said yesterday because it was her birthday. Well, you can actually think this she's having a childish thought, but only if you will know her age, you'll be surprised she still wants to be Cinderella. Well, she already turned 30 yesterday. And it won't be a good one seeing Cinderella at the age of 30. I mean, we all have this perception that characters on fairy tales do not age, at least in our minds.
But why did she said she wanted to become Cinderella? It's because her husband bought a new pair of crystal slippers for her. Those slippers are actually not for wearing, they are just meant to become house decorations. Besides, its size is 20. Only a giant's feet can fit in.
With the fact that she can't wear the crystal slippers, she exclaimed "I wanna be Cinderella!". We all laugh when she said that. She really wants to have one of those shoes for real, and for use everyday. Too bad I have not seen any crystal shoes used in real life. Not one.
So instead, her husband left that morning and came back home before lunchtime, and has with him a pair of golden sandals, which I really think my sister didn't like that much. She still accepted it though, for respect as it was a gift from her husband, but knowing her, she will not wear it.
But she loved the gift certificate that came with the shoes. It's really not a gift certificate, more like a discount coupon on every Lacoste shop. What she didn't know is that, I sneaked into her pouch bag that night and stole the coupon. Lol. I put in some cash though in exchange, but obviously, lesser than the price of what I will get with this coupon.
