I am a big fan of Timberland boots. I have had a brand new pair of white Timbs hiding in my closet, just waiting for the perfect time to break the out! Well over the weekend that time finally came. Every year my family has a family reunion. We usually have a lot of different activities planned such as horseshoes, wiffleball, and lots more fun things. I figured I would wear my boots until the activities start then change in to my old shoes. I thought I would wear my brand new, bright white boots to impress my family that I haven't seen in a while. Bad idea. Very, very bad idea!
On my way to the family reunion my called called and asked if I could swing by the part store and pick him up some oil because he was about done changing it when he realized he forgot to buy the oil! So obviously I'm gonna help. When I get there he was just finishing with everything and he quickly poured the oil in his car. They only thing left to do was pour the oil from the bucket through the funnel and into the old oil drum. I started carefully pouring in the oil. When I was almost done my brother silently mumbled, "uh oh". Not good.
I looked down to see my left shoe was completely covered in oil!! I just bought these! Here I find out the bucket that the old oil was in had a hole in the bottom and was pouring all over my shoe! I had to go home and change my shoes before I showed up late for my reunion!
