I have this (bad) habit of lurking in online forums whenever I have the time. Through these forums, I am able to get ideas on practically everything under the sun. I have particular forums that I frequently visit, although I do lurk in a lot of forums, generally speaking.
One of the forums that I recently visited concerns footwear. Lately, I found myself desiring to look for a lot of footwear and watches--the only personal articles that I am actually interested in. For clothes, well, I usually leave that to my aunt, who likes to purchase clothing for me.
Anyway, one of the threads discussed the footwear that we would like to have. One of the contributors showed us these suede chukkas from Alden as his pick. Upon seeing it, I know that I already fell in love. I'm not so sure if I already mentioned it, but I'm a great fanboy of suede shoes, though I don't necessarily have a lot of pairs of shoes. In fact, the pairs that I can still wear are not made out of suede anymore! But you can bet that the suede shoes that I once owned were surely loved.
And chukkas. Who cannot possibly love chukkas? I think they practically look well with everything, as long as they have a neutral tone like the one featured in the image beside this post. I also used to own a number of chukka pairs, but again, my feet grew big for them and I wasn't able to purchase new chukkas anymore. O wait, I think I still have a pair of chukkas here that I am not wearing much these days.
In any case, I don't think I can ever have this pair of suede chukkas from Alden, primarily because there are no Alden stores here where I'm living in. Too bad! Shipping rates are too expensive, too, plus the fact that I *think* Alden does not have any online store. Do you know any sites that sell Alden shoes online?
